Speaking of frightening, for Halloween we got together with the whole team for a date night and carved pumpkins. We had homework to get back to, so we made sure to go with our pumpkin pre-de-gooped, and with the pattern already outlined. That being said, we won first place in speed, and probably also got first place in pumpkin pattern awesomeness. So enjoy some pictures of the fun...
After we got all the pattern carved, we realized we forgot to bring a candle. After scouring our TINY apartment for a LARGE amount of time, we found no candles.... But alas, we go to college and used our collegiate wit to find another light source....
I hope you all had a fun Halloween and are looking forward to future vacations like I am! (It's never to early to turn on the Christmas Tunes in my book!) Happy Holidays :)

haha, you guys are too cute. very genius with the phone candle. And I'm VERY impressed with the pumpkin. Despicable me, right? Niiiice. My pumpkin carving skills have yet to evolve past the point of triangle eyes and classic jagged teeth. In fact, when I was drawing my design, Dan was like "you can't carve that, it will cave in because of that line, this line, etc." ha ha. Yeah whatever I'll just resort back to my normal pumpkin face.:)
Love you guys. Hey btw, how do I get tickets to the Utah/ BYU game next year? It might be fun to fly out for the big meet! I have GOT to come see some of your meets, hello!!
oh it's even sooner than I thought...end of January is the meet huh? I just looked it up...well maybe I can get on buying plane tickets already.
